2020 ACLU Election Week Donation

Dear sock-loving friends -

My name is Melissa, and I founded BSBF socks in 2012. BSBF started as a side project because I wanted to develop a better sock, and I wanted to do it my way. I spent months researching materials, and working with experts to create a cotton and bamboo blend that could hold up, but wouldn't constrict your ankles. I incorporated bamboo charcoal into the material itself that won't wash out, won't rub off, and would help to neutralize odor and increase moisture absorption to keep your feet happy, less stinky, and comfortably dry. I'm proud of what I developed, and our BSBF socks are still made the same way today, 8 years later.

While not much has changed with our socks in those 8 years, a lot has changed in our nation.

Without "getting political," there is much that concerns me and my fellow Americans every day. I watch politicians failing to deliver support, policy upgrades, and laws to protect the rights of those most vulnerable. So, in a small way, BSBF is going to try to help.

Starting today, October 30th, 2020 and continuing through next Saturday, November 7th, we will be running a special event.

75% of every single purchase made over the next 7 days will go directly to the ACLU. I will update this post personally with a grand total once the donation is complete. In addition, and to thank you for your participation, if you choose to purchase a 5-pack of BSBF socks for the regular retail price, you'll receive an extra 3 pairs of BSBF socks for free as well.

Will this change our political issues, fight climate change, and fix universal human rights? Of course not. But I do believe strongly in the good work I see the ACLU do every day, and it's time we gleefully and generously throw our support, our energy, and our resources to those who are on the front lines fighting to make a difference.

If you'd like to join me in making an additional personal donation, you can find more information here.

Thank you for your time,

P.S. Oh, and if you haven't already, please make a plan to vote!
